The Art of Banksy, arrives on an exclusive summer show in Tākina, Wellington, following a highly successful exhibit in London, UK.
Opening on November 28, 2024, the exhibition brings Banksy’s most infamous works to New Zealand. Running until January 20, 2025, this major exhibition has already captivated over 1.5 million visitors in 18 cities worldwide.
Wellington, known for its vibrant street art scene and as the cultural capital of Aotearoa New Zealand, is the perfect next stop for The Art of Banksy. The exhibition will showcase the world’s largest collection of original and authenticated Banksy art, featuring more than 150 pieces, including prints, canvases, unique works, and fascinating ephemera.

Among the highlights is the global exclusive of the first ‘Flower Thrower’, an iconic artwork symbolizing Palestinian solidarity and resistance.
Visitors can also expect to gain unique insights into Banksy’s Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem and see seminal artworks like ‘Girl With Balloon’ in various colour variations, including the rare ‘Gold Edition’.
The exhibition promises to be an unforgettable experience, offering free tickets to children under 12 accompanied by an adult, ensuring that art is accessible to all.
